MARRIED IN A YEAR TERMS OF USE
Effective Date: July 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms", “Agreement”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and Firstfive Marriage World Ltd ("we", "our", or "us", “FirstFive”) governing your access to the Married in a Year™ Collective (“the Collective”, “Our Service”, “Married in a Year”). By joining the Collective and accepting these terms, you confirm that:

  • You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms;
  • You are at least 18 years of age;
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of Nigeria;
  • Where you are entering this agreement on behalf of a person (aged 18 and above) or an organisation, you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and;
  • You, or any person/organisations on whose behalf you’re entering into this contract, will comply with the additional policies published by FirstFive Marriage World Ltd.

Failure to comply with the above after signing an acceptance of these terms will result in suspension or termination of your membership without refund.

SECTION 1: OUR COLLECTIVE
1.1 What We Offer
FirstFive Marriage World develops educational resources, media, publications, communities, workshops, and experiences designed to help individuals and families thrive through scriptural counsel, practical wisdom, and relationship education, particularly in the first five years of their union. The Married in a Year™ Collective operates as a membership community under the FirstFive Marriage World ecosystem. Our services under this Collective include, but are not limited to, educational resources, seminars, conferences, Meet & Greet, webinars, and personal coaching.

1.2 Purpose of the Collective
The Married in a Year™ Collective is an educational and coaching community created to help members:

  • Develop healthy relationship habits.
  • Build strong personal character.
  • Learn scriptural, logical, and psychologically sound relationship principles.
  • Evaluate and improve their dating strategies.
  • Recognize unhealthy relationship patterns.
  • Prepare for healthy courtship and marriage.
  • Access resources, coaching, prayer guidance, and community support throughout a structured one-year journey.

1.3 What the Collective is Not

  1. Unless expressly stated in writing as part of a separately purchased service, the Married in a Year™ Collective is not a matchmaking service. The Collective provides education, coaching, community, relationship preparation, and opportunities to grow in wisdom and discernment. Where FirstFive Marriage World Ltd. offers a separate matchmaking or introduction service, those services will be governed by their own additional terms.
  2. The Collective exists to prepare people for healthy marriages; it is not a “get married quickly” program. Our methodology provides a structured framework to prepare members for a healthy relationship, however outcomes may vary.

1.4 Membership

  1. The Married in a Year™ Collective is a twelve (12) month paid membership community. Your membership provides access to the resources, curriculum, coaching opportunities, community discussions, and other benefits described here and on the subscription page. This access runs only during your active membership period, which is to be renewed every twelve (12) calendar months.
  2. Membership does not automatically include physical workshops, conferences, retreats, tours, or other separately ticketed events unless expressly stated. To access these events and make payment, you must first be a member of the Collective.
  3. Your membership grants you a limited, non-transferable licence for personal use only. You may not copy content, share login credentials, upload your downloaded materials elsewhere, redistribute resources, sell any materials, republish our content, record coaching calls, or create competing products using our materials. Unauthorized use will result in legal action, removal of access, and termination of membership permanently without refund.

1.5 Platform Access & Modifications

  1. We aim to provide uninterrupted access to the Platform but do not guarantee that the Platform will be available at all times, error-free, or free from interruptions. Scheduled maintenance, force majeure events, or technical faults may result in temporary unavailability. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of scheduled downtime where reasonably practicable.
  2. We reserve the right to modify, update, discontinue, or introduce new features on the Platform at any time, with or without notice. Continued use of the Platform following any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated service.

SECTION 2: ACCOUNT REGISTRATION & SECURITY
2.1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to register for an account without a parent’s or guardian’s supervision. Users younger than 18 may not register, as the Collective is focused on individuals aged 18 and above. We reserve the right to verify age and identity at any time, and to suspend accounts where eligibility requirements are not met.

2.2 Registration Obligations
When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You must promptly update your information if it changes. You may not:

  • Create an account on behalf of another person without their express authorisation:
  • Register using an identity or name that infringes any third party's rights;
  • Register using false, misleading, or fraudulent information; or
  • Create multiple fake accounts.

2.3 Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to or use of your account. We will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

2.4. Account Deletion
You may delete your information or close your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, we will remove your information from active systems within 30 days, subject to any retention obligations under applicable law. Residual copies in backup systems will be purged in the ordinary course of our backup cycle.

SECTION 3: ACCEPTABLE USE AND USER OBLIGATIONS
3.1 Permitted Use
You may use the services we provide solely for your own personal, non-commercial development, unless you have entered into a separate written agreement with us for commercial or institutional use. You agree to use our services, and the platform in good faith and in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws.

3.2 User Obligations
Meaningful results require participation. Members of the Married in a Year Collective are expected to:

  • Study the assigned curriculum;
  • Complete the recommended lessons;
  • Read weekly emails and announcements;
  • Prepare for coaching sessions using the assigned materials;
  • Engage with the community respectfully;
  • Practice the principles taught throughout the program;
  • Participate in assigned prayer exercises where applicable;

Live coaching sessions are designed to deepen and apply the curriculum. For the best experience, members should complete the assigned course material before attending coaching sessions related to that topic. Members are not required to attend every live coaching session, however they are responsible for reviewing weekly communications to understand upcoming topics and preparing accordingly.
As a general guideline, members should expect to dedicate at least one hour each day to personal study, reflection, prayer, and implementation in order to gain maximum value from the Collective.

3.3 Prohibited Conduct
You must not, directly or indirectly:

  • Upload false, misleading, fraudulent, or or inappropriate content, including fabricated credentials. By using the site, you warrant that your information is accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge, does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party nor contain unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or offensive material;

  • Share another member’s personal information;
  • Publish screenshots from the community on any platform;
  • Record coaching sessions;

  • Use the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm any person;
  • Engage in any activity that circumvents or disables security features of the Platform;
  • Use the Platform in any way that could damage its reputation or bring FirstFive into disrepute.

If access is provided to any member directory or participant profiles, Members agree that they will not copy participant information, share participant identities publicly, distribute contact details, publish names, photographs, profiles, or conversations, discuss participants on social media, or contact individuals for purposes unrelated to the intended use of the publication. Misuse of participant information will result in immediate removal from the Collective.
Members must not use social media or other public platforms to:

  • Defame another participant;
  • Ridicule another participant;
  • Harass members;
  • Reveal confidential community information;
  • Damage the reputation of FirstFive Marriage World Ltd. or other members through false or malicious statements.
